Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) & Additions

Making Room for What's Next

Sometimes the right home isn’t a different home, it’s more of the one you already have.

An accessory dwelling unit (ADU) or home addition can create the extra space needed for changing lifestyles and growing families. Homeowners throughout the Portland metro area use ADUs and additions to accommodate aging parents, create private guest quarters, generate rental income, establish home offices, or simply gain the room they need without leaving a neighborhood they love.

Evergreen Renovations & Roofing designs and builds custom ADUs and home additions tailored to each property and homeowner. From detached backyard cottages and attached ADUs to primary suite expansions, second-story additions, and expanded living spaces, every project begins with understanding how the new space will be used and how it can best integrate with the existing home.

Our team guides homeowners through planning, design, permitting, and construction, helping navigate the unique requirements that come with ADU and addition projects in Portland and the surrounding communities.

Heather Camp

Heather Camp

Assistant Designer / Staging Diva

Heather’s journey with Evergreen began as a client, when she and her husband decided to renovate their Woodstock bungalow. It was during that project that her passion for design, and her playful eye for color came to life. Drawing from her experience studying fashion in Italy, and her years working in elementary education, Heather brings creativity, empathy, and intention to every project. She prioritizes truly listening to clients, taking the time to understand how they live and what they envision; ensuring each design reflects their lifestyle and wishes. As one of Evergreen’s teammates put it, “Heather is the bringer of joy and silliness,” infusing both the office and each project with warmth and heart.
